 DAY TOUR  

9am-10am   Pick up from hotel or accommodation in Ennis in exclusive Cuckoo tours transport 

10am-11am Travel to rock climbing site over looking the Aran islands, via Caherconnel ruin, Poulnabroune tomb, Fanore beach and the Burren

11am-1pm    Two hour climbing session on the beautiful sea cliffs of Ballyryan, with over 200 climbs in the area of different heights and standards, there is something to suit everyone. You learn to climb, use the ropes and abseil, while fully supervised by our experienced staff.

1pm-2:30pm

 Travel to Lahinch the home of Irish surfing and have lunch in one of the local restaurant of your choosing. Discounts available for some pubs etc.

2:30pm-4:30pm Meet our experienced surf coaches who will kitted you out, and get you out in the Atlantic waves for two hours of adrenaline filled excitment.

4:30pm-5:30pm Change, enjoy a coffee and be returned to your accomdation, tired and extremely happy.

         5 DAY TOUR              

Your adventure starts in Galway, the “City of Tribes” where you will be picked up at your hostel and taken south to the world renowned Burren, passing sights in Kinvara, Dunguaire Castle, picturesque views of Galway Bay, ancient Poulnabrone, Dolmen tombs and Fanore Beach where you can take breathtaking pictures. After lunch Cuckoo Adventure Tours will take you to the spectacular Burren, where you will learn to Rock Climb and Abseil in some of the best climbing routes in Ireland.

From the top of a 30ft abseil you will see spectacular views of Aran Islands. Cuckoo Adventure Tours will then take you to Kilfenora, famous for Ireland’s high crosses and ceili band where you can check into your accommodation in Kilfenora Hostel. Entertainment will follow to help you get to know your group in the one and only famous Vaughan’s local bar.

Cuckoo Adventure Tours will take you to the heart of the Burren to experience the exceptional landscape from a perspective very few have seen. You will descend into the very heart of the underground caves to see stalactites, stalagmites and underground waterfalls. When you ascend from the depths, you will be taken for lunch back in the famous surfing town of Lahinch. After which you will hit the surf on one of Irelands best surfing beaches.

After your first surf lesson you will then spend the evening exploring the traditional Irish pubs and experience the classic Irish atmosphere of this premier surf town.

Cuckoo Adventure Tours will depart Lahinch and travel to the famous Doolin pier where you will catch the boat to Inis Mor, the largest of the Aran Islands. There you will explore the island by bike taking in the majestic sites including the cliff top fort of Dun Anegus. From the cliff top you will experience a horizontal hang abseil from “the roof” which is a spectacular overhang of rock 100 feet above the crashing Atlantic ocean. After your day exploration on the island you will catch the boat back to Doolin where you will be taken back to your accommodation in Lahinch.

The adventures aren't over yet! Cuckoo Adventure Tours will then take you to one of Ireland’s premier tourist attractions, The Cliffs of Mohar. However, Cuckoo Adventure Tours offer you the chance to see the world famous cliffs from an alternative perspective. With a walk to Hags Head tower which looks down along the length of the cliff face, you are then given the chance to abseil down to the lower levels to view the enormous Atlantic waves crashing off the cliff base below and see the various native birds clinging to tiny ledges.

A view not to be missed! On return trip to Lahinch, Cuckoo Adventure Tours will visit the unique Liscannor Rock Shop where you can pick up a souvenir of your experience.

In the afternoon Cuckoo Adventure Tours will take you back to Lahinch where you have a second chance to fine tune you surfing skills. After which you will then have our farewell party savouring Lahinch night life at its best with a traditional ceili.

Cuckoo Adventure Tours will take you back to the fabulous City of Galway and to your hostel’s door. You will be then set on your way on a self guided tour of Galway, local style, taking you to all the best spots worth seeing.
